What you can open

Stuff prioritizes viewing. Agents and your usual desktop apps can do heavier editing; originals remain available to download.

Family Current view Editing or limits
Markdown, plain text, code Formatted Markdown or readable source Small text can be edited; code is never executed
JSON, CSV, TSV JSON tree or tables Bounded previews; original download preserves all data
PDF Pages and zoom No PDF editing or OCR
Images Browser image view Browser codec support varies; no HEIC conversion
DOCX, PPTX Converted pages/slides Static preview; fonts can differ, no Office editing or animations
XLSX Sheet tabs and cells Cached values and formula text; no recalculation, chart or pivot rendering
Audio and video Native playback or a converted preview where supported Processing can take time; source stays unchanged
GLB, embedded glTF, STL, OBJ Orbit, pan, zoom, wireframe; supported animation Self-contained assets; external texture dependencies are not fetched
HTML slides Slide navigation, notes and presentation view Uploaded scripts do not run
HTML Sandboxed static view No uploaded scripts or network access
ZIP Archive listing No extraction in the browser
Other types File information and download Native Blender/design files, ebooks and additional document formats need future viewers

The current per-file limit is 25 MiB. Text previews are limited to 2 MiB and text editing to 1 MiB. Spreadsheet and archive previews deliberately show bounded subsets; a partial preview does not mean the original was truncated.

Uploaded files are checked before serving. A processing or unsupported-format message is not a promise that conversion will succeed. You can return to a file after processing finishes.

Markdown supports internal file links and images stored in Stuff. Those images still go through file permissions. Arbitrary remote images are not embedded by the Markdown viewer.
